Silver Raindrops
“Leave me alone,” I snapped, slapping the hand away.
He didn't understand, no one did…
A warm tear rolled down my face as I remembered how the day had started.
It had seemed like a normal Thursday.
I had woken at the normal time of 7:00 A.M, Lying in our large, wooden, 4-poster bed. I had gotten up, dressed and styled my hair in a matter of minuets before going down stairs.
Breakfast was a bowl of cornflakes with milk, like I always had before work. I grabbed my work jacket and started for the door before, James, my boyfriend, had grabbed me and kissed me, whispering, “I love you babe.” I just smiled and kissed him back.
I had, quickly packed up my work gear and jogged to my car.
I had driven home, parked in my garage and leaped out of the car with a smile on my face, feeling happier that normal.
I strode up to the door, and as I turned the handle and opened the door, I called out, "Honey, I'm home!"
I didn't get a response, but as I began to shut the door, I heard a low moan. I shook it off, assuming that is was just the door.
I went off, and began to do a few small jobs, laundry, dishes, some cooking.
Once that was done, I sat down in front of the Tv, and turned the news on.
Talking about a new mall being built, I found it rather boring, so I turned the Tv off and started thinking about work.
I felt uneasy as I walked up the stairs towards our bedroom but as I went to turn the handle the door swung open. I was surprised that the door was open, it was normally shut.
I looked around the room once more, then I noticed that the window on James side of the bed was open!
Frowning, I walked around to go shut it.
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!"
There he was. On the floor. The carpet was soaked in blood. His clothes were covered in bloodstains.
There on the floor lay my boyfriend. I couldn't tell if he was dead or alive....
